What really matters to me would be my family. With my husband recently sent to Afghanistan it's going to be tough. Thank goodness for my two daughters! They remind me that smiling and laughing are okay even though we are missing him terribly.

It's funny. If you asked me this question a few years ago, the answer would be so different. But I find that what matters most to me is the relationships I have with my friends and family.

Not much in life really matters cause we all die in the end. I try to concentrate on the important stuff like teaching and raising my kids to be great human beings and loving my pets and all animals of the world!

To me the small, brief moments that I look forward to each day make me the happiest - that first sip of coffee as I read the paper and watch the sunrise, hearing the others in the household wake up one by one, seeing that clock at work reach 5:00, and sitting down to dinner each evening as a family. With money issues so pressing these days, those moments of togetherness and reminders of our family unit are invaluable and priceless.

Hearing my 12 year old laugh with her friends. Her telling me she loves me out of the blue. Watching the hummingbirds outside. Those are a few things!
Thanks

What matters to me is spending as much time as possible with my family. Another thing that is very important to me is kindness--kindness to people, to animals and to our planet.

My husband and children make my life meaningful. Watching our children grow and experience life together is wonderful, sharing both the good times and bad is what keeps our marriage great!

So many things make my life meaningful but the biggest is a happy family. I can't give my children the best of everything or all the material things they want but knowing that I can give them unconditional love gives my life meaning.

No. 1 is having good health. Life is so much more enjoyable.

No. 2 is having a happy family. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and terrific children.

No. 3 is having the freedom to enjoy your life.

No. 4 is having an open mind. There's so much to see and learn!

I am so blessed, with my husband and kids. We focus on our faith, and our daily blessings, which are so abundant. I have worked hard at our days, that build our life, being filled with all things that bring us joy - in our work, our kid's schooling, our hobbies, our home, our world, etc. The source of all of our joy and blessings, comes from God, and we thank Him daily. When circumstances out of our control strike, that bring struggle and sadness, it is He we turn to, also.
For the most part, life is what we all make of it. I believe in realizing that your passions, are in fact the gifts God gave you, to use in your life. They direct and point you to your life's work. We are meant to live a life using our gifts, giving back, celebrating the joys, being thankful, and taking care of ourselves and the ones we love, inside and out.

There are so many "little" things in life that make it whole. This morning I got up early, opened the back door to let in the fresh breeze, had a delicious cup of hot tea, and I'm relishing the quiet time.

Life is not really about what you do the most important part is who you do it with!!!

Our family nurturing, spiritual nurturing, and meeting responsibilities on time matter most to me. Having a healthy balance of love and healthy discipline (i.e., do your homework before you call your friends; make your bed before you walk out the door; get your practice time in before you get online, etc.) are paramount for happy and harmonious living in our home. We also take time out throughout the day to let each other know we're happy to be together.

My husband helps make my life meaningful. He doesn't completely do it but he is a great deal of it. I enjoy laughing and sharing my life with someone who gets my sense of humor. He gets me. Other things that make my life meaningful is just have a plain ol' good self esteem. I feel good about myself and I hope I others feel good about themselves.

leandrew 5 pts

There are several things that come to mind when I think about all the little things that make my life meaningful! The 'I Love U's' I receive from my daughters each morning before dropping them off to school! A family outing to Coors Field with my sons to watch The Colorado Rockies play ball! My wife preparing my favorite dessert (blueberry cobbler) for my birthday! A Sunday morning bike ride through the Colorado Mountains with my dad! And watching re-runs of the Jerry Seinfeld show with my wife after the kids are asleep! But none of these things can compare to the 'joy' I feel when spending Sunday afternoons in church with my entire family giving praise to GOD!
