I just read the most amazing book for young children. It's called Miss Rumphius, and it was written by Barbara Cooney. I just fell in love with Miss Rumphius, and I can't believe I'd never heard of this book before!

What are the most beautiful books that you love reading to your little ones? I'm looking for very special books, beautifully illustrated, with words that resonate and are pleasing to read, over and over again. Bonus points for a positive, inspiring message.
