Beauty Bite | Urban Decay Naked 3 and Too Faced Chocolate Bar

eye shadow pallets

For Christmas I was given a number of Ulta gift cards, yep my friends know me so well. I had quite a few items on my wish list, but two new eye shadow palettes won out. As I shared in my Beauty Bucket List I want to play more with eye shadow and color and what better time to start than now.

The first palette is the Urban Decay, Naked 3. I've seen this beauty all over YouTube and I fell in love with the range of colors. It's a very soft and romantic set of shades. There are three matte colors and a number of shimmers, ranging in intensity. The colors are very highly pigmented and I've had no issues with them creasing or not lasting all day. I am in love, it is my new go to.

The second palette I purchased is the Too Faced, Chocolate Bar. I hadn't actually heard of this palette before so unlike the Naked 3, I wasn't 100% sure of what I was getting in advance. I was walking around Ulta and talking to one of the lovely ladies that works there and she told me she had something that was coming out that weekend that I would love. I instantly got excited, one because I was going to get it before it came out and two because I am a fan of Too Faced products. These shadows are all natural and are made with cocoa powder. The more you swipe your brush the more you smell of chocolate. I mean, common that sounds good to me. Haha. I really like the variation of colors, this palette has a little more variety which is always nice.  Like the Naked 3, the shadows are highly pigmented and they blend together really well.

If you are looking to explore some new shadows, I highly recommend both of these palettes . What about you, do you have a favorite eye shadow palette you think I should try?
