Being Mom: A Working Mom Perspective

I just took a look at the clock and it is 9PM, where did the day go? I have been up for 18 hours and like many of you working mom’s out there it is the first real personal time you have had all day. A typical day for me starts at 3:30AM, followed by a commute to work, ten hours a day on the job, a commute home, a taxi to preschool, taxi to daycare, home, dinner, dishes, laundry, lunches, bath time, story time, bed. It – feels – good – to – sit –down.

I often times find myself daydreaming of being home with my boys enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the morning listening to their sweet voices, going to the park, fun beach adventures – My mind wanders a bit further…
