Best Brownies Ever. EVER.

I'm not really a sweets person and I only crave chocolate once a month. Just keepin' it real folks, that's how I roll! But when I do want chocolate, decadent goodness, ooey gooey-ness...I make these brownies. They're so quick and easy to prepare. Almost to easy, to where you might be inclined to make them all the time. You've been warned, continue at your own risk!

 Brownies

1/2 c butter, melted
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 lg eggs
1/2 c flour
1/3 c cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Peanut Butter Frosting

1 c butter, softened
1 c creamy peanut butter
4 c powdered sugar
1/4 c milk
1/2 tsp vanilla

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9-inch square pan with evoo cooking spray.

Stir together melted butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Next, combine, cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture and stir until combined well.

Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the edges.

While brownies are baking, start on the frosting.

Beat butter in medium bowl on until fluffy. Beat in peanut butter, 1/2 c powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Beat in remaining powdered sugar  in 1/2 c increments, beating after each addition, until frosting is smooth and creamy.

The brownie, while delicious on its own, is taken to new heights with the addition of the frosting. Just sayin'!

Allow brownies to cool, frost, and then cut into squares. I won't tell you that if you put your brownie in the microwave, that the frosting will get a little melty and gooey and take your brownie eating experience to new heights!

I said I wouldn't tell you. I never said I wouldn't show you!

Happy Friday! Have a decadent weekend!
