The Best Lake Tahoe Trip Ever!
By The Darla Chronicles on October 06, 2012
We’re on our way to Lassen Volcanic National Park, but first we stop along the 80 at the Donner Pass Rest Area where the Pacific Crest Trail, PCT, crosses the freeway. The Rest Area has a nice ½ mile loop trail that actually is part of and connects to the PCT.

Next we visit Tahoe City to check out Lake Tahoe. Tahoe City is lovely but they don’t allow dogs in their park. So I sit and wait with Mommy while Daddy checks out the beach. Then we all go look at boats at the marina.
Afterward, Daddy and me want to see Reno ‘cause we’ve never been there before. So we drive to Reno for a quick peek-a-boo and stop for 24 Hour Fitness rejuvenator. Daddy says of Reno, “I’ve already forgotten it.” We continue to head north on the395. Daddy’s getting sleepy, so we stop for the night in Susanville. It’s nice and quiet there and we sleep well.
Tomorrow, Lassen Volcanic National Park!
Until then, thank you all for visiting with me today and have a fantastic day!!
Love you all!
