I'm usually a shades of gray kind of thinker, but from where I sit, this presidential election is about polar opposites:
- Change vs. more of the same
- Tolerance vs. intolerance
- Independent thinking vs. subservience to religious dogma
- Knowledge vs. ignorance
- Positive vs. negative
- Voter turnout vs. vote suppression
- Hope vs. fear
In the words of Martin Luther King, Jr., "I believe that a day will come when all God's children from bass black to treble white will be significant on the constitution's keyboard." One more day, Dr. King. We're closer to your dream.
