I try to post on my own blog at least twice a week, usually Wednesday and then on the weekend. I know how much I enjoy finding new posts from my favourite blogs, so i try to keep things current. Apparently there is a ratio of "lurkers" to "commenters" . I'm getting better at leaving comments, because like presents, I love receiving them too!

I have noticed, however, that there is never a positive article written about any form of social media. Strange, when I know of so many people who have connected with like minds via blogging; found old friends via facebook & myspace; and entertained themselves and others via You-tube. Recently my sister, visiting Australia from her home in Hong Kong, was reunited with a friend from London. They had lost touch years ago, but their children, now 18, found eachother on facebook. The friend was now living in Australia, ten minutes from where my sister was staying, so a reunion dinner was organised. I think it is a great thing that today's kids will never "lose touch" with old friends. Go bloggers!!
