    <content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I decided to start my blog with one of my favorite passions, images from my <a href="http://thefriendshipstone.com/index.php/61-The-roadsides-of-India.html">travels and stories</a>.  I will now have a place to share with you some of the most amazing experiences I have been fortunate enough to have had.  </p>
<p>One of the most enigmatic and fascinating places I have ever been to is India.  After the first trip, I left with a feeling like it would be a long time before I made it back there.  But there is something mysterious about that country and as time passed, I realized I wanted to go back more than ever.  It is a country as old as time, with over a billion people.  </p>
<p>In many parts of the country, they live as they have for the past centuries, and in other parts, they are catching up fast to the western world.   I have only managed to travel to Rajasthan, but I am looking forward to the time I can explore the South as well. </p>
