This election is definitely one for the history books. If nothing
Tonight, Senator Barack Obama surpassed Hillary Clinton in the
number of pledged delegates, effectively assuring his nomination as the
Democratic nominee for President. I watched his speech from Iowa and
cheered as he spoke of his gratitude for the people who have given
their time, their money, their support of him: the grandmothers who
spent time on the phone calling folks they don't know; people who are
having trouble paying their bills who have written checks to his
campaign for $5.00; college students who have given their vacations to
stuff envelopes.
The best thing about the interview with BlogHer and Senator Obama today, was that it informed me, not about anything new in terms of his political agenda but, it acquainted me with the website. I am glad to find this site, however, I was less than intrigued with the questions submitted for the interview. Not one question was asked of him that hasn't been asked a thousand times in a thousand interviews. To have had 10 minutes of the Senator's precious time was an honor and in my opinion, his time was wasted. It was too predictable. Sorry. I wish I had found you sooner.
