The facts can be screamed from the highest platform and it JUST-DOES-NOT-MATTER!  It is now reaching a level of international embarrassment.   When the United Stated of America is compromised globally and domestically due to a combination of fanatical fringe conservatives whose only focus are - 1) abortion; 2) stem cell research; 3) gay rights; and 4) imposing a single anglo-saxon religious view.  

With only ONE structure under my belt, that I constructed solely by myself, I decided that I was ready to take on my first house! What was that first structure, you ask?  

“If we say we are doing it for God and Country…they will believe anything we sell them!” (a republican mantra) I know…I keep trying to bring up the facts  - and the facts just don’t matter - do they? Not when we are trying to be intelligent about our protests of this preposterous republican Vice Presidential appointment and the realities of what would befall us if such a nightmare were to ever materialize? But here I go again… How silly - are - we?

This is not about us. It is about a religious right movement aimed at controlling our private lives, who we can be with, what we can do in our bedrooms, and with our bodies. And some how, they have ordained themselves with the superiority of God in their pursuit of this righteous behaviour that their beliefs are the only way to salvation. Wow! Such arrogance…

In all the years that I have been a vigorous consumer of tools, I have yet to see a sale for the female builder and do-it-herselfer. And - I think it is time for that phenomenon to be rectified. No longer to be relegated to shopping for the blowout tool sale of the year on Father’s Day where I am asked, “What other tools does he already have?”, or, “Does he need bits to go with that drill?”, etc., etc. ENOUGH! That “HE” is “ME!” And it is time we have a blowout tool sale on Mother’s Day!
