7. Obama or McCain: The Global Electoral College
My four and two year old nieces are visiting, and every morning we have a Nick Jr. marathon. As I get settled with my laptop for the day, I have half an ear to the TV, and was really happy to see the dismantling of stereotypes through children's TV. (leave Hannah Montana and High School Musical out of this for the moment). Dora being as outdoorsy and active as her cousin Diego, and my favorite, the Sheriff in the Backyardigans is a woman! Dear Hillary and Obama,
Just a tip - please don't touch the McCain raging temper admission. Yes, it's weird and unnecessary that while you are challenging each other to bowling matches, and proclaiming your immortality in this test run, McCain is strolling down memory lane, visiting old landmarks, both literal and figurative. I made a choice a month ago, that got me all sorts of reactions from the outside world. I decided to quit my job to spend more time with my family. This, on its own, is something we have all heard and approve of, given the inherent failure of the current corporate structure to reconcile the careers and family life for women. I, however, do not have children, and therefore, the mixed reactions.
