Bloggers Sing Their Hearts Out for Christmahanukwanzaakah

For the 6th year running, Neil Kramer from Citizen of the Month has kicked off his annual Christmahanukwanzaakah online concert, and for the 6th year running, I've chickened out of performing my rendition of "Maoz Tzur." Even though I know most of us don't have a voice that rivals Buble, I still get self-conscious over the idea of sitting down with a Flip camera and my guitar and warbling in Hebrew. So I miss out.
But thankfully, there are tons of people who didn't miss out, and the concert is a great way to see some of your favourite bloggers in a completely different light.
For instance, Loralee of Loralee’s Looney Tunes participated in a flash mob in a mall. (Complete with Irish step dancers!) Just as good as the singing itself are the expressions on the faces of the other mall patrons.
Katherine of Postpartum Progress, who was one of the speakers at BlogHer's Pathfinder Day last summer, sang "Silent Night." Diane of Momo Fali (and BlogHer's social media manager) and her son illustrated how much he wants his one front tooth.
Kristin of Rage Against the Minivan played the piano with her family accompanying her. Dana of Feast After Famine did a rousing edition of "Christmas is Coming" with her family. And Neil of Citizen of the Month, the host, performed a very odd iPhone app version of "Deck the Halls."
So go over and enjoy the concert and let us know below if you participated and any stories you have from the making of your video. And if you didn't participate, why the hell didn't you sing your heart out?
