Is Blogging Becoming Harder, Or Is It Just Me?

Is it just me, or is blogging starting to feel like work?

Less than a minute ago, I blogged about how to manage stress because I was starting to feel really stressed out. I realized that the more I knew about blogging, the more effort I had to put into it to reach out to readers.I guess it's true what they say: Ignorance is bliss.

Blogging Stress: It's Definitely Real!

Paradoxically enough, blogging still relieves stress for me. I once took a leave from blogging to finish my studies (I took up IT in college). Now that I'm interning, I have more time on my hands.

I made a decision to give blogging another go. I remembered how blogging used to feel so good because I didn't have to care about word counts and keywords! But now, things are different.

Blogging requires money. The internet connection, the electricity, and of course, the time spent away from day jobs spells out money. Even domain and hosting can be quite costly!

Thinking about all the work and dedication you put into your blog, the possibility of having your adsense cancelled, and the money spent on blogging can make anyone a little anxious! Am I the only one who feels like this?

It would be nice to hear your stories. What do you do when blogging no longer feels like a hobby and starts to feel like work?

Don't get me wrong; I will forever look at blogging as one of the things I want to do for the rest of my life. Actually, that's why I want to make sure I never tire of it!

Dealing with stress is one thing. But how about dealing with the stress of blogs specifically? How do you deal with the day-to-day blogger tasks? Does it ever bother you that you have to do blog upkeep for the rest of your blogging days?
