Welcome to the BlogHer Conferences Newsletter. This week we have an important heads up about the BlogHer Business hotel reservation process, a call for Miami BlogHers to make their desire for a meet-up known, and the low-down on BlogHer panels at SXSW Interactive.
Update #1: New York hotel block not sold out, despite what the Internet might have told you.
[img_assist|fid=2388|thumb=1|alt=BlogHer Business Basic Button] We discovered last week that there was a bug in the online reservation system of the Hotel Affinia. This bug was causing the site to return a "block sold out" error message, even when it wasn't. Kristy blogged about it here and provided alternate methods for reserving rooms for BlogHer Business until they fix the problem...at which point she'll blog the update. Sorry for any inconvenience this caused anyone, but rest assured there are still $229 suites available at the Hotel Affinia for BlogHer Business attendees.
PS-One more reminder: the Early Bird pricing ends on January 31st. that's next week!

Well, BlogHer co-founder Lisa Stone will be in Miami next month to speak at the WeMedia conference, and we're figuring out whether a BlogHer Meet-up is in order. If you're in the area go to and let us know what you think.

It's springtime in Austin again for BlogHer, as we once again descend upon Texas' capitol city. Check out this post about the sessions we're bringing to SXSW.
