BlogHer '08: Earlybird Registration Extended to March 31!
by Kristy Sammis

Thanks to your overwhelming response to our early registration options, it's looking like BlogHer '08 will be a sold-out event!

Of course, we want everyone who's interested to be able to attend, so we're encouraging all BlogHers to register early. To help with this, we are extending Earlybird Registration prices to March 31. (You can check out our basic price breakdowns here.)

San Francisco: ready or not, here we come!

When will you have the agenda?

Due to the high cost of airfare to San Francisco, I will probably have to choose just one day of conference sessions to attend. Do you know when you will have the agenda set so I can decide whether Friday's or Saturday's sessions will be the most helpful to me? Thanks!

Me Too!

I was just going to ask the same thing. Money is an issue, so I'm bargain hunting my flights. Basically I just need the start time for breakfast on Friday, and then end of the event on Sunday.

General schedule

Hi.

I can help Michele now, because we know that we will kick off at 9AM on Friday and the unconference will close at 5PM on Sunday.

But as for specific sessions, I wouldn't expect to publish even the first sessoins until the end of this month and possibly after we get back from BlogHer Business the first week of April.

Sorry Elizabeth :(

That's okay, Elisa. I'm kind

That's okay, Elisa. I'm kind of in a quandary anyway because I also applied for a BlogHership, and I assume you won't be deciding on those until after BlogHer Business as well. So I don't really want to register until I see if I was chosen for a BlogHership. Have a great time at BlogHer Business!

Actually we'll try to do those by 03/31...

So that people who don't get blogherships can get the early bird discount on the conference.

That's why we extended the earlybird, mostly.

From Nigeria

I will really like to attend this conference but I dont know how I can get funding for it. Any tips??? Anyone???

Signs you should go to Blogher '08

-Your friend's eyes start to glaze over and they start to dig aimlessly in their purse as soon as you start to talk about your blog.

-You are up late into the morning hours locked in a feverish comment extravaganza on one of your favorite blogs.

-Someone in your life does something amusing, annoying or both and you don't react in person...you save it for the blog.

-When your husband calls you from work, he doesn’t even ask, he just says, "What's it about today?" (Only the finest husbands do this.)

-No one tells you anything, writes you anything or will hand-over pictures they don't want brutally exposed to the whole world (your blog--but in your mind "the whole world.")

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are SO ready to go to San Francisco and spend hour upon hour talking about blogging. Everyone you know really, really wants you to go...really, they're begging you.

Awesome list Suzbroughton

And tell me: do you have one of those finest husbands? Because mine surely doesn't even ask what's in my blogs...let alone read them :)

Fine husband, yes.

He is THE finest. He reads it and, sometimes, if I am really really lucky, he laughs. That makes me happy to my toes.
Can't wait for the conference. I am pestering all of my cyber friends to come too. I really want to see them--SEE them. I want to be able to laugh with them in person, you know, the kind of laugh where you grab their arm tightly for fear you will fall down from laughing so hard.

Woo Hoo! First Blogher EVER. I'm already
registered.

Donna (SoCal Mom) made sure that I registered early for Blogher this year so I am set to go. Can't wait to meet everyone.

Salient info for BlogHer '08 newbies!

Michele from Sparks and Butterflies totally alerted me to the fact that I didn't include the BlogHer newbie mixer in my schedule above!

We will be hosting a mixer especially for first-time BlogHer attendees on Thursday evening. It will probably be from about 8-10PM at the Westin.

So, take that into account when travel planning!
