BlogHer ’12 Is Over, Now How Do I Keep In Contact with Sponsors?

One of the greatest benefits of BlogHer is the networking potential between bloggers and brands. Many bloggers come to the conference looking to connect to brands they would like to work with, and luckily, many brands come to BlogHer conferences to meet with bloggers to work with. We simply create a convenient place to meet and exchange information.
Are you interested in keeping in contact with some of the sponsors, but aren’t sure how to go about doing so? You might not have to reach out at all! Chances are if you exchanged information with a sponsor, they will likely contact you. Most sponsors who have collected your information intend on contacting you in some way, shape or form.
If you don’t hear from a sponsor, don’t be afraid to reach out to them. If you have contact information for someone you met during the show, shoot them an email. If not, follow them on Twitter and direct message them that you may be interested in working with them.
Not every brand will be a good fit for you and understand that you may not be a good fit for every brand. It never hurts to start the conversation and see if it leads to a mutually beneficial relationship down the road.
Forget who sponsored BlogHer ’12? See a list of our sponsors on our Sponsor Page on BlogHer.com. If you have any questions that you'd like to ask before sending off an email, don't hesitate to ask here and we'll give our best advice!
