BlogHer ’13 Ticket Transfers: The Chicago Shuffle Edition

BlogHer Original Post

We’ve do-si-doed our way to Austin and back for BlogHer Food ’13, and now it’s full steam ahead to BlogHer ’13 in Chicago! And I do mean full steam ahead. If you’ve looked at your calendar lately and counted ahead to the big fat X that marks BlogHer ’13 – oh, you haven’t counted yet? Go right ahead. I’ll wait -- that’s right! Six weeks! Six weeks until you’re zipping around the sessions, learning from our speakers, meeting our sponsors, putting on a tutu and shimmying, shuffling, social sharing your way through the evenings’ progressive parties. Ok, fine. Tutus optional. But dancing? Totally required.

If you’ve already purchased a ticket but are no longer able to attend, we’re sorry we’ll miss you! Check out the steps below to transfer your ticket to a new attendee.

Important Note: Ticket transfers are free of charge until June 25, 2013. After that date BlogHer will still accommodate ticket transfers and other changes to badge information, but will charge a $25 ticket transfer fee.

Step 1: Find a new person for your ticket. I suggest posting on the BlogHer ’13 Community Forum. There is already a Ticket Swap thread on the forum to help you find a buyer.* Any transfer of payment should be handled independently between yourself and the new ticketholder.

Step 2: Once you have a new person for your ticket, you can log into your registration record to switch the ticket details by clicking here. You will need to enter your last name and your registration ID number (found on your original confirmation email) in order to log in. Once you’ve changed the name, email, and any other information, the new ticketholder can then log in to update all the other details (badge, contact info, etc.) to match their preference.

Step 3: You’ve completed your ticket transfer -- congrats! Even though you won’t be joining us in Chicago, you can still practice your dance moves to wow us at next year’s event. May we suggest the shuffle.

*Please note that Blogger Rate tickets may only be transferred or sold between bloggers.
