Editor's Note: Today huge explosions rocked the city of Oslo, Norway, killing 7. According to the New York Times, the explosions, which appeared to be bomb attacks on government buildings, were followed by an attack on a youth summer camp by a man dressed as a police offer on Utoya, an island 25 miles away from the city.
BlogHer American in Norway works 300 yards from one of the explosion sites in Oslo, but was luckily at home today. She reports that she's OK. Here are her initial thoughts. -- Julie
Is this Norway's 9/11? Norway's innocence is gone. & now, a shooting at childrens camp... Things like this don't happen in Norway...or so we thought.
