It's time to put sex on the calendar once again!
BlogHer Bedroom is coming back tomorrow (Thursday). This week, your fearless misadventuress will be discussing dating someone new and answering your questions about how to meet new people, how to communicate our needs and how to establish boundaries, as well as admitting her own trials in starting over after a break-up!
It's been a year since my divorce –- a year full of trial and error as I began exploring the world of dating once again. I've dated exclusively, I've dated around, I even made a point of dating people I wouldn't normally date to see if I was missing something. Great dates, bad dates, you name it. And I've learned some valuable lessons.
Where do we meet new people? Should we know what we want going in or see where things go? What are our expectations? How do we communicate them? What does the place a date chooses to take us say about them, if anything? Is it OK to cancel via text? Who pays? How soon after do you expect a date to make contact after going out –- or should you make contact?
Once again this week we're going to be picking one of you to receive a $100 Visa gift card. To enter the contest, simply leave a comment on this post asking a question about dating you'd like to have answered during the chat.
So pencil me in, ladies, tomorrow (Thursday) at 8:00 p.m. Pacific, 11:00 p.m. Eastern, for the BlogHer Bedroom video chat. You can watch and chat here on this page at BlogHer.com. It's like having happy hour with friends, only you don't have to worry about traffic or getting home after a drink or two! Perfect!
