Planning to attend BlogHer '09? Why not let everyone know? We've got the goods below -- our tried and true, BlogHer Badge Basics.

But we're also looking for great ideas for new badges, too! As you may recall, last year we made a few less traditional, more fun buttons as well, including:

Er, this might seem wimpy, but how 'bout...

"Trying dilligently to save up enough money to go to BlogHer '09"

Or something a bit peppier could be:

"Sneaking money out of the family coffers behind my sweetie's back to go to BlogHer '09"

Then one with some teeth. Maybe too many teeth:

"Dipping into my kids' college savings to go to BlogHer '09"

Many might not consider that funny at all. Especially in these dire times. If my kids' college savings were big enough yet, I'd seriously consider it.

Okay, here's the last one, though it may not be extremely popular. Particularly among the Actual BlogHims there:

"I'm going to be the one mistaken for a guy at BlogHer '09"

I will refrain from quoting the deathless Irish Spring soap commercial line from the 1970s, but those who remember it can now replay it and chuckle, or not, as the case may be.

I actually would like something related to being free of my kids. Maybe "I'll be childfree at BlogHer" works for both those who are going without their kids and those who are childfree IRL.
