BlogHer Conference Update -- June 3, 2011
Happy weekend! I am going to go against my own rule and I am going to say (out loud) that we are 61 days away from BlogHer '11 in San Diego which means we have a lot to share, and want to make sure you are up to date on all things BlogHer Events. Let's start...
First things first, wahooo! for BlogHer Food '11! Another fun and exciting event in fabulous Atlanta, Georgia.
For those who were unable to attend, we were lucky enough to have volunteers liveblogging and mic wrangling as well as our dynamic photographer, capturing the event on film -- all of this is available on our BlogHer Food VirtualCon, so check it out!
On to BlogHer '11...
Polly announced last week that the BlogHer '11 Voices of the Year Submissions are open-open-open. To learn about the timeline, process, how to nominate and much more, read Polly's post and get those submissions going! The deadline is June 20 -- do not delay!
And Polly didn't stop there -- just yesterday, she proudly posted the 2011 International Activist Scholarship Recipients. It's a wonderful introduction to the four women who will grace our Change the World track on Saturday, August 6, so pop over to the post and welcome these amazing women to BlogHer '11. (Polly's been writing a lot of posts lately ;-) )
If you have read this far and realized, "Uh oh, I haven't registered for BlogHer '11" -- I'll make it super easy: Register here! You also need to book your hotel room if you haven't done that yet. As I have mentioned, the Marriott is sold out, but we do have rooms at the Omni Hotel, which is only a seven-minute walk -- easy breezy!
And since I am all events all the time, have you read about BlogHer Handmade? Taking place over three days, September 15-17,2011, BlogHer Handmade at The Creative Connection will be a handmade, social media, entrepreneur, and food extravaganza. Register today and join us in Minneapolis!
Until next week...
