BlogHer Conference Update - - October 5, 2012

BlogHer Original Post

Happy weekend, friends!

Last week I said we would have a grand announcement and sure enough, Shannon announced our Call for Ideas for BlogHer Food '13 in Austin. In her post, she explains and introduces you to:

  • The Advisory Committee
  • Conference Programming Tracks, and
  • Timelines

If you aren't sure what we are looking for a in a BlogHer conference speaker, we have a page dedicated to explaining just that, the BlogHer Conference Speaking Opportunities page. All the details are outlined, so take a peek.

In addition to our Call for Ideas opening we want to remind you that you can register now for BlogHer Food '13 and book your hotel room in Austin. The room rates are $199 a night including in-room Internet.

We know many of you share a room when you come to a BlogHer conference, so we have launched our community forum for BlogHer Food '13. Here you will find discussions on finding a roommate(s), carpool partner, or hey! start your own discussion. There is no better way to start relationships then in the community forum.

Speaking for community forums, we have also launched the BlogHer '13 community forum for Chicago. And since we are talking about Chicago and BlogHer '13, now is a great time to register, while early bird pricing is in full affect! Read Elisa's post on pricing, early bird dates and ticket transfers.

The Sheraton Chicago is taking reservations, so either call or click and reserve your hotel room at the BlogHer conference rate of $199 per night (king bed) with in-room Internet included.

And finally, for a little weekend fun, check out yesterday's BlogHer Events team shoe shot. Won't you join in?

Until next time...
