BlogHer Conference Update - - September 14, 2012

BlogHer Original Post

Happy weekend and for our friends celebrating, Happy Rosh Hashanah! It's been a very busy week here for the BlogHer Conferences team and we have lots to share.

BlogHer, bloggers and television:

  • Our very own Elisa Camahort Page appeared on The Ricki Lake Show Wednesday, September 12 to discuss the power of social media. But she wasn't alone! Read Elisa's post, check out who else was there, and let us know if you watched! I was bummed Elisa didn't get more air time -- you?
  • Our friend Katie Couric launched her new show this week, and yesterday she hosted several of our BlogHer bloggers! We are beyond thrilled to see how traditional media is embracing the power of YOUR voice. In case you missed Morgan's post about Katie's new show or, of course, the video of Katie at BlogHer '12, you can go here and read more.

BlogHer Food '13

Now is the time to register for BlogHer Food '13 in Austin, TX! We are thrilled to take this show to the music capital of the world and are planning another exciting, food filled event. You can also book your hotel room at the Hilton Austin and guarantee you stay in the heart of the action.

BlogHer '13 Returns to Chicago!

As you have likely heard by now, we are heading back to Chicago and registration is open! Now is your chance to lock in the Earlybird Blogger Rate (if eligible) of only $198 (yes, the same rate since 2005!). Earlybird pricing ends on November 7th, so register now. For more information on deadlines, ticket types, our NEW ticket transfer policy, and prices, read Elisa's post.

BlogHer has a block of rooms available at the Sheraton Chicago, our host hotel, at a discounted rate of $199 per night, including complementary in-room Internet. Book your room here.

Note: The $199 per night rate (single/double occupancy) is for a King room. If you need a room with two double beds, the rate is $209 per night (single or double occupancy)
