Almost six weeks ago Lisa, Jory and I asked for your feedback and help on making BlogHer '10 even better than BlogHer '09 in a post we called: We're listening. And here's what we're mulling over so far...

Happy Friday!Another fabulous and productive week here at BlogHer and here are the highlights...BlogHer Food - today we were able to open up the waitlist and add more bloggers for BlogHer Food! We are taking names off the waitlist in order they were received - keep an eye on your inbox!
It's Day Three post-BlogHer '09, and we are in our full-on, annual Listen-Real-Hard mode here at BlogHer. Since Lisa Stone, Jory Des Jardins and I first plunked down our credit cards to reserve a space for the BlogHer 2005, we have asked for everyone's help to make it happen. To make it better. To make it a celebration of women who blog.
You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll laugh and cry. How can you not? It's the return of the BlogHer Community Keynote!
This year, 21 bloggers from our community read their own work, curated by the marvelous Eden Kennedy of Fussy, Let's Panic about Motherhood, and NaBloPoMo.
This is a four-week series to help attendees explore Chicago. Please also visit Walking Tour One, Walking Tour Two and Walking Tour Three.
If you haven't checked out the Chicago Walking Tours yet, and are looking forward to getting to know Chicago a bit, we suggest you look into them now. They're chock-full of history, architectural facts, hidden Chicago gems and some of the greatest shopping in the city. BlogHer community member Cynthia Clampitt created three tours, plus put together these tips and fun facts, and we couldn’t wait to share them with you. Read on for a great city guide about the city’s architectural history, expansive public parks, tips for keeping your bearings, and what to do near the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers.
At BlogHer ’09, you’ll likely notice our Green Initiatives – policies we’ve enacted to help make our conference more sustainable. We’re proud of the ways BlogHer sponsors and the BlogHer community are making a difference, and wanted to highlight specific examples of our efforts to create a more eco-friendly conference.
It's inevitable. Someone at BlogHer, no...MANY people at BlogHer are going to have video cameras. Be it their Flipcams or their Kodak HD's or whatever else -- many of you will be taking and talking on video that will end up all over the internet.
This means you will want your video to look good and you'll want it to make sure people can FIND your videos online.
I have solutions!
BlogHer '09 is a few short days away and this year we introduced something brand new - LobbyCon!In an effort to help you meet up with fellow LobbyCon'ers' we have created a forum to chat about what you'll be doing in between the the morning and evening general sessions. Click over, meet other LC'ers and start preparing your days!See you soon.

We’re here to help you get geeky – two levels of geeky! BlogHer has planned Beginner and Advanced tutorials for attendees, which will run concurrently with other sessions in our conference agenda. And if you still need help afterward, most speakers are more than happy to hold some “office hours” following each tutorial for a little one-on-one action. Come learn new tech tricks in the Beginner Lab, like Stats for Word Nerds or Beginning SEO, or geek out in the Advanced Lab discussing a variety of content management systems or sharing your hacks, mashups and other rebel coding.
I've gotten so many private emails from BlogHers who want to meet these women that I decided to open a conversation about the BlogHer '09 Saturday keynote I'll emcee with Tina Brown, Donna Byrd and Ilene Chaiken.

Chicago Sheraton
One week from now the Chicago Sheraton and Towers most definitely will know what's hitting them, as almost 1,500 (mostly) women bloggers check in...and log on.
