BlogHer Food '09: Introducing the Values Track

BlogHer Original Post

BlogHer Food 09 I am thrilled to announce the second track of programming for BlogHer Food '09, taking place next month in San Francisco.

This is the second of three exciting tracks! We already announced both the Visuals Track and the Closing Keynote. We're filling in the entire agenda right here.

Track #2 will be: The Values Track

We're excited to have a track dedicated to how food blogging manifests our values. The three sessions in the track will include:

Session #1: The Politics of Food...and Food Blogs, featuring Jennifer Maiser, the woman behind the Eat Local Challenge, Bonnie Powell, founder of Ethicurean, Greg Massa, an organic brown rice farmer and two bloggers to be confirmed who will round out this diverse panel of bloggers dealing with the politics of food.

Session #2: How Food Blogs Can Save the World, featuring Genie Gratto, Lydia Walshin, founder of Drop In and Decorate®, Valerie Harrison, a co-founder of BloggerAid and another TBA notable blogger behind a venerable food blogging charitable effort.

Session #3: The Meaning of Identity and the Value of Voice in a Crowded Foodblogging World, featuring Jory Des Jardins moderating a conversation with Ree Drummond, Garrett McCord, Dianne Jacob and Susan Russo

You can read more details over at the full agenda.

We're thrilled to have these inspiring food bloggers on hand to share how and why they do what they do...manifesting their values on and with their food blogs.
