BlogHer Food '09: Introducing the Vocation Track

BlogHer Original Post

BlogHer Food 09 I am thrilled to announce the third and final track of programming for BlogHer Food '09, taking place next month in San Francisco.

We already announced the Visuals Track, the Values Track and the Closing Keynote. As of now, the entire agenda can be found right here. We have two or three more bloggers to add to the roster, but every session is now present and accounted for.

Track #3 will be: The Vocation Track

This is the track for those of you who are hoping that your food blog can be an integral part of your career and your livelihood. The three sessions in the track will include:

Session #1: How Blogging Best Practices Apply, No Matter Your Blogging Niche, featuring vegetable-focused Alanna Kellogg moderating a fine crop of niche bloggers: South Beach Diet devotee, Kalyn Denny, Vegan Yum Yum's Lauren Ulm, Elana Amsterdam from the gluten-free Elana's Pantry and Wine Girl, Michelle Lentz.

Session #2: Your Blog is Great…now what? Letting your blog lead the way to new opportunity, featuring Amy Sherman moderating a full-disclosure discussion with Jaden Hair and Helen Dujardin.

Session #3: Protecting Yourself and Your Work, featuring Sean Timberlake, who leads a double life as both food blogger and the man with ultimate responsibility that BlogHer's content doesn't get stolen, Elise Bauer and foodblogger and lawyer Lisa Johnson.

You can read all the details over at the full agenda.

We hope the Vocation Track stuffs your head full of as much wisdom, savvy and practical advice as it can handle!
