BlogHer Food ’13: The Ticket Transfer Do-Si-Do
Why the do-si-do? Well, the fact that BlogHer Food ’13 is less than two months away kind of makes me want to clap my hands and swing my partner ‘round and ‘round. The speakers! The sessions! The FOOD! The Austin weirdness of it all!
You say you’ve already purchased a ticket and can no longer attend? We’re sorry we’ll miss you! Please note that BlogHer will transfer tickets free of charge up until May 10th 2013. After that date, we will still accommodate transfers and other changes to badge information, but will charge a $25 ticket transfer fee.
To transfer your ticket to a new attendee, follow the steps below. This is where your do-si-do skills come into play:
Step 1: Find a new person for your ticket. I suggest posting on the BlogHer Food ’13 Community Forum. There is already a Ticket Swap thread on the forum to help you find a dancing partner buyer. Any transfer of payment should be handled independently between yourself and the new ticket-holder.
Step 2: Once you have a new person for your ticket, you can log into your registration record to switch the ticket details by clicking here. You will need to enter your last name and your registration ID number (found on your original confirmation email), in order to log in. Once you’ve changed the name, email, and any other information, the new ticket-holder can then log in to update all the other details (badge, contact info, etc.) to match their preference.
Step 3: Take a bow. You’ve completed your ticket transfer. Next up, the Electric Slide.
