BlogHer Food Goes to Pike Place Market

BlogHer Original Post

We are busy over in the BlogHer Conference Department scheduling away for BlogHer Food and have a great addition to our Saturday Lunch Excursion.

Our Saturday Lunch Excursion is a trip to Pike Place Market. This is a mere couple of blocks from our hotel, Fairmont Olympic Hotel, which makes it a perfect location to visit. We have scheduled plenty of time during the lunch for you to casually walk to the Market, peruse the vendors, grab a delicious bite or two and spend time with your new and old friends.

Pike Place Market Sign I

What we have just added to the beginning of the lunch is a private tour of Pike Place Market. Savor Seattle has customized a 45 minute food-focused walking tour just for us! We are offering this opportunity to all registered BlogHer Food attendees.

The tour kicks off at the intersection of Pike Street and Pike Place, under the giant neon "Public Market" sign with the clock. Just look for their pink umbrella. Their guides will take 15 minutes to meet everyone and get you set up with audio equipment. As you wander down the "main drag" of the Market you will have no problem hearing the interesting, funny, and sometimes surprising stories about the people and foods of Pike Place. They have customized our tour to be sure they cover the best components of the Market.

The space is limited so please be sure this fits within your schedule before signing up. There is no additional cost to you. We think this is a great way to see the Market. The tour begins at 12:15pm and goes until 1:15pm. This leaves you plenty of time to explore on your own after and make it back in time to finish off the day with the captivating afternoon sessions.

Click here to register. We'll see you at the Market!
