Comfort or fashion? That’s the major dilemma for any fashionista.I experienced first hand the other day, the biting cold of Canadian winters. After a night out on the town, I was trying to find a taxi home on a busy road during -12 degree weather and heavy snowfall wearing only a dress and small coat. Trust me, its cold out there! So how exactly do you balance keeping warm with staying stylish?...more
Spend more time with the kids.
These are typical resolutions...and are not attainable as they stand. What does “lose weight” mean? If you lose 1 or 2lbs, have you achieved that goal? Weight Watchers sets goals of 10% of your current weight....more
It wasn't until I began exploring fashion and style - dressing in fun, flattering, and form-fitting clothes - that an unexplored universe began to open up to me. For the first time, I respected my body. I realized that there was nothing wrong with my body. I saw my body as integral to my identity. I wanted to show it off, and decorate it joyously, and hone my personal style so that I could understand it on new levels. The natives that lived in these pueblos were preparing for their annual 'Harvest Festival' by setting up stands to sell their talented handy work via chili pepper crosses, wreaths, jewelry, etc... ...more
Hillary Clinton is taking hits again for her penchant for monotonously dressing in an unending parade of pantsuits. Is Hillary representing the United States of Fug, or is she just doing her job in a perfectly fine, functional uniform of the proletariat? Does it matter?
If I were Hillary, I'd be tempted to show up to the next Summit of Great Importance in a paisley minidress, thigh-high boots and an ermine shawl. Talking Point: How ya like me now?
