That's right, I said it. I'm kind of over The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I watched a lot during the Bush administration, not every night, but often. Then Colbert came around, and I just found him funnier. By the time the 10 o'clock hour comes around, I'm more interested in laughing, not serious politics, which is where Jon Stewart has gone. Don't get me wrong, I entertained the idea of heading to DC for his rally. And sure, he has his jokes, but his whiny voice just feels like nails in my brain. He takes himself very, very seriously....more
BARACK Obama's presidency will reach a milestone of historic proportions on November 16. No, it is not the mid-term congressional elections. It is the release by his book publisher of his new book. A children's book. There is a new game being created to promote abstinence in teenage girls. A girl wins points if she says no to a boy. This video game is pretty much peer pressure in itself....more
Barack Obama became the first sitting president to appear on a daytime talk show today when the pre-recorded interview with the ladies from The View aired. He has been on the show two previous times, but they were before he was elected. To make the interview more interesting, Barbara Walters came back for the first time since she had heart valve surgery earlier this year. She wasn’t the only one with hard-hitting questions, making the interview quite interesting.
