Day 2 at the Ocean cont again

We drove a little further north and stopped at Spouting Horn. This is a place on the Oregon coast where the beach is just rocks. There is a little sea cave which has a hole in the ceiling... so when the tide comes in, water explodes up through the hole in a "geyser-like" spray.I guess the sprays can be so big they hit the highway! But, here's a little puff that I caught (you can see the road isn't exactly close!):  ...more

Crisis Averted: Save Your Photos

I’m not ashamed to admit I’m a momarrazi. I take pictures of my kids over every little thing. I have an extensive collection of their antics, silly faces, and moments. That is until my hard drive crashed. Then my back up hard drive crashed. I panicked imagining all the moments that were forever gone. Agonized that my wedding was gone…...more

I have used Flickr and Blogger since 2005!  That was also the year I purchased a Sony Cybershot DSC-H1 camera.  The Sony stopped working March 2010 which is when a Canon Powershot SX120 IS took it's place out of necessity. ...more

Swirling Sky

I've been fascinated by the sky since I was a wee one.  Although I prefer night skies (the stars are my guiding light), any sky will hold my interest.  I am proudly one of those people who even at 42 still looks at clouds searching for animals and shapes.  If you don't, you should try it.  You'd be amazing at what you find.I took this particular photo because I was intrigued by the crisp white clouds being threatened by impending storm clouds.  Any comments or feedback are welcomed! ...more
