Meg Cabot is a #1 New York Times bestselling author with more than 25 books for adults and teens -- including The Princess Diaries in print. I started reading her novels many years ago, and was thrilled to have the opportunity to have her answer some of my questions about her new vampire novel, Insatiable, the life of an author on the internet -- and, of course, vampires.

Meg Cabot has not one, but three book trailers for Insatiable, all three of which are pure fun. Here's the first Insatiable book trailer. You can find the others on her YouTube channel.

Do you have a favorite Meg Cabot book? Will you be reading Insatiable?

But I do find her very amusing and that translates to her books often. Not always, but often. It's just really nice to see an author having fun with their work and their readers online.

I was so over vampires that I wasn't really planning to read Insatiable. But I'm glad I did. You'll have to let me know if you read it Jenna.

And yes, she really is adorable. You should check out her blog sometime.

Which really always does make it hard for me to roll my eyes when Sassymonkey talks about her.

It's easy to fall for her - and her books - because of the personality factor.

I have a new crush. How adorable is she?

Anyway, I'll definitely be reading this book. Being "over" the vampire thing kind of sounds like me. LOL
