Angie Smith from Bring the Rain just signed another three-book deal with Broadman and Holman Publishing.

Margaret Andrews of Nanny Goats in Panties recently published a book, Sticky Readers: How To Attract a Loyal Blog Audience by Writing More Better. It's a humorous, instructional book for bloggers who wish to make their blog content more engaging. Lesbian Dad's Polly Pagenhart was interviewed, alongside National Center for Lesbian Rights' Executive Director Kate Kendell, and Equality California's Marriage Equality and Coalition Strategies Director Andrea Shorter, for a San Francisco public radio show, What's Next for the Marriage Equality Movement in California? These two women are LGBT civil rights movement powerhouses, and she was greatly honored to spend an hour talking the issues with them.

Jenny Ingram of Jenny On the Spot was one of the Ignite Keynote speakers at the Evo conference this summer.

Congratulations to Mallory from Mallory and the City who got married a few weeks ago!

Rachael of Our Life and her family appear on the front cover of the 2011 National Fragile X Foundation Quarterly Newsletter. She was so excited to be chosen to represent families of Fragile X Syndrome worldwide.

Jennifer Byde Myers from Into the Woods was on a panel at ACRE, the Association of Clinical Researchers and Educators as a patient advocate. She spoke about parenting her son who has autism, and on her work at The Thinking Person's Guide to Autism where she's a co-founder and editor with fellow BlogHer Shannon Rosa. The panel was moderated by Montel Williams (yes *that* Montel) who is a very outspoken patient- and self-advocate. He has MS.

Arlene Gibbs of nyc/carribbean ragazza co-wrote a film, Jumping the Broom, which drops on DVD and Blu-Ray August 9th. Jumping the Broom had a great opening weekend when it was released theatrically May 6th.

Hello Ladies was named one of the top 100 websites for women by Forbes.
