Becky from Babes in Hairland appeared on a local television show, The Daily Dish, with her three young daughters. She demonstrated a few quick holiday hairstyles on set and explained how to create some of the more elaborate ones. She's looking forward to appearing again later this month.

The Daily B's Gina DeMillo Wagner had her DIY advent calendar included in the e-book Handmade Holidays, published by Hewlett-Packard. The book, which is full of holiday tips and craft ideas, can be downloaded for free. She was also a featured writer on elephant journal.

Alexis Anne from Clean, Smart, Simple Style has had several pieces of her writing featured in print and online this year.

Sweeter Lemon's Susan Case is in this month’s Maker in The Paper, Louisville’s Good News free monthly.

Maggie Hames of Media Darlings wrote a paper, "The Poor Substitute: Representations of the Adoptive Mother, the Stepmother, and the Absent Mother in Cinema," that was accepted for presentation at the Society for Cinema and Media Studies Conference in Boston this spring. Her research examines cultural biases in cinematic representations of non-traditional mothers.

Nicole Hempeck from Moments That Define Life was featured on Good Morning America and Nightline recently by award winning journalist JuJu Chang.
