VisitSouth.com Seeks Bloggers in the Southern U.S.

Do you live in one of America’s great southern travel destinations?

Are you the person everyone turns to for the latest information on what’s new in town or where to take out-of-town visitors?

Are you passionate about writing, the Web and social media and always eager to enhance your skills?

Then we invite you to apply to join our team of local Insiders at VisitSouth.com, the premiere southern travel Web site launching this winter.

VisitSouth.com brings a personal touch to travel planning with Insiders like you located throughout the southern United States contributing weekly written content about what’s new and of interest to out-of-town visitors arriving in your cities.

As an Insider, you’ll become a trusted advisor for travelers seeking authoritative and authentic advice on where to go and what to do in the cities and towns they visit. You’ll join a highly professional team at VisitSouth.com dedicated to using innovative technology to deliver quality travel content, and you’ll be the eyes and ears of VisitSouth.com in your area.

As a VisitSouth.com Insider, you'll also receive invaluable exposure for you and your writing — making this an ideal position for someone trying to build a reputation as a local travel expert, a writer promoting a book, Web site, or blog, or an individual promoting another business.

Insiders will be responsible for writing two short blog posts per week as well as promoting their content via social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter. We may also ask our Insiders to create short original videos and will provide all the training and tools you need to make it happen.

Compensation for Insiders is based on quality and performance. All Insiders will earn a small weekly fee for accurate and on-time articles and content promotion, and you can earn even more through our performance-based bonus program.

Our Insiders must live in the cities/areas that they cover. We are looking for Insiders in the following states:

• Alabama
• Arkansas
