BlogHer PRO '13 Starts: Are You Ready?

BlogHer Original Post

BlogHer PRO '13 kicks off Tuesday, October 22 and we are so excited! Get the most out of your conference experience, whether you're joining us in person at the Sofitel Hotel or following along online via our Virtual Con. Whatever the case and wherever you are Tuesday and Wednesday, know that we have a lot in store for you.

BlogHer PRO '13 Starts Tomorrow: Are You Ready?

Of course, we're not the only ones excited about the events of the next two days. We've been following along with your online conversations about the conference, and we wanted to share a few things with you to get you hyped, jazzed, and in the mood for learning and fun.

Britt Reints, whom we also interviewed about her panel at BlogHer PRO, is excited to attend the conference, but not just as a speaker.

As much as I love speaking at conferences, I’m also one of those people who shows up early for sessions to grab a seat in front. I’ll be ready with paper and pen to learn from others who have mastered skills that still confound me. This, for me, is part of my commitment to an atmosphere of growth.

We’re growing or dying; there is no maintain.

Bonggamom, otherwise known as Ana Picazo, is beyond exciting to be speaking at the morning keynote on Wednesday, and like Britt, she's also excited to attend the conference and learn more about the next step of blogging.

BlogHer PRO is actually a better fit for me because I've been blogging for such a long time now that I'm more interested in conferences that deal with taking blogging to the next step rather than introducing the basics. I also missed out on BlogHer PRO 2012 because we were in the Philippines (my timing sucks!), so I was determined to catch this year's conference, at least.

And, as always, our attendees and speakers are contributing to the #blogherpro hashtag on Twitter to connect with others, share their plans, and engage their own followers who might not be attending.

If you're going, here's a checklist of things you should do tonight to prepare:

Most importantly, get yourself into the mindset to learn and connect Tuesday and Wednesday!

If you're not able to make it to the conference, be sure to follow along with the #blogherpro hashtag tomorrow and Wednesday, and visit the site regularly as we update our Virtual Con. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. We will be available to bring those at home as much of the conference as we can!

See you tomorrow!
