BlogHer PRO: What You've Been Blogging Since

BlogHer Original Post

It's hard to believe that BlogHer PRO was one week and one day ago! The day was jam-packed full of learning and fun which you can read through via our liveblogs. I have been following along with what you've been writing in the days since the conference and have shared a few of your thoughts and blog links here.

Red Sky PR had some good things to say about bloggers:

While you might expect to hear some 101-level insights from me about the conference, what I learned was not only a good reminder of how to have successful relationships with bloggers but also how to successfully blog as a practice. Primarily, I was reminded (once again) that bloggers continue to shape the media landscape. Legacy media outlets continue to shrink which translates into fewer and fewer opportunities to tell a client’s story through traditional methods.

Caren at Voodies shared a list of things she learned. Here's just one:

Digitwirl reinforced this idea by suggesting to pay less attention to the wisdom of online marketing guru’s and spend more time working on what works for you personally.

Monique at Blogs by Latinas shared a bit of what she learned (and some great pics in her post).

Not only did I get to see a little bit of the city, but I had a chance to learn from the one day conference. I learned about how important our blogging community is, the opportunities that are out there with video, and how to make myself a brand. Lots of great information.

Did you attend BlogHer PRO? Did you write a post? What did you think? Share with us!
