BlogHer Reviewers play the exciting new video game version of MONOPOLY


Mr. MONOPOLY recently asked some very lucky BlogHers to play the exciting new video game version of MONOPOLY from Electronic Arts. Not only did they jump at the chance to play everybody's favorite property trading game in a fun new way, but it was a great opportunity to get the whole family together to see who would take Boardwalk and Park Place! Once the BlogHer Reviewers started playing, they were amazed to find all the classic MONOPOLY play you've come to know and love like the original board game, but the brand new World Edition also included and a whole new super-fast party mode that lets up to 4 family members play a complete game of MONOPOLY in 30 minutes! They were also laughing and having fun as they competed in new interactive mini-games and played never before seen MONOPOLY boards. Mamalogues is "already planning an evening in with friends and wine" to play the new video game version. 

Mommy Needs Coffee said, "I love that this version of Monopoly for the Wii brings with it a party feel. It is less a competitive, cut-throat game and more of a fun romp through an age old classic most of us grew up playing."

Excited at the prospect of sharing a favored childhood game with her daughters, Petroville proclaimed Monopoly "a big hit with my family" at the conclusion of the game. 

BusyMom, a fan of the traditional Monopoly, especially liked the "cool new, never before seen boards that you can unlock."

Regarding the Monopoly World Edition, Mom to the Screaming Masses says that it's "an all new way to play, complete with faster game play, property trading and fun mini-games that get everyone involved."

Notes from the Trenches says that the Wii version "incorporates all of the fun of the real Monopoly" and without the prospect of missing or scattered game pieces.
