Last Saturday, February 27th, Chile was hit with an 8.8 magnitude earthquake. Today it experienced a 6.6 magnitude aftershock. If you're looking for ways to help the earthquake's survivors, the sites and blogs below have posted lists of relief organizations working in Chile:

On January 12th, as the earthquake whipped through Port-au-Prince, an orphanage in Carrefour where 42 boys and girls lived fell to pieces. The children—all aged 9 months to 12 years old—are currently living in a parking lot near where the orphanage collapsed. They are survivors—they always have been. At their young age, they have experienced two tragedies: becoming orphans at an early age, and now being displaced again by the earthquake. Thankfully Madame Tiresias and Sylvain took in the children into the “Service aux Enfants en Difficulté” orphanage (“Service to Children in Difficult Situations”).

"She stood up in our meeting and said that was exactly why women are afraid of taking loans in India, but with Nest, because it's interest-free and they can repay in their necklaces, they didn't have that kind of fear. That was one of those profound moments when you know you're onto something."

On Sunday, February 14th, thousands of people will exchange cards, go out to dinner, eat chocolates, buy flowers, and give gifts for Valentine's Day. If you're celebrating, why not add a little do-goodness to your Valentine's Day?Cards
