Have you heard of JW Tumbles?

I had the honor of participating in BlogHer Biz '08. Part of my gig was to lead one of the round table 'experts' discussions. However, as what usually happens in a free flowing BlogHer conversation, I learned more from the fabulous women than I gave.

Our talk turned to etiquette in social media .. what is proper and politie in the digital world. Do we still need to remember our manners? The Divas round the table kindly agreed to share their thoughts.

Generation X: Approximately, those born between 1964-1981.
MTV Generation: Approximately, those born between 1975-1985. Also known as the XY Cusp.
Generation Y: Approximately, those born between 1980-1994.

It seems like every few months I run across a newspaper or magazine article, or see/hear a news/radio broadcast that explores one of two things.
1) Gen X/MTV/Y is going to save the world.

UPDATED: Intuit brought two handy hand-outs with them to their Ask the Experts segment, and they have graciously agreed to share them with the entire BlogHer community now that the conference is over. While these are focused on small business owners, I actually think many bloggers qualify as small business owners.

So whether you attended and want a refresher or weren't able to be there in person, we have a great excuse for you to sit back, plug in your headphones, and explain to your boss that you're actually working.

All new activities have a learning curve, and live blogging is no different. I was so charged up for day 1 of the BlogHer Business Conference that I was having a hard time focusing enough to live blog the small section that I was responsible for on Day 1. I went home that night and I was scared. Granted, this was not a life or death situation.
