Alana Reynolds
Alana Reynolds (aka Momku) is a mommyblogger and poet who has been writing at LetterB.com since 2004. Alana started microblogging on Twitter in 2007 as @LetterB but found that trying to fit rambling non sequiturs into the 140-character limit was forcing her to think like a poet again. Soon after she created her @Momku identity on Twitter and started tweeting exclusively in the 5-7-5 syllable style of haiku poetry. The haiku-like verses are witty takes on the various slings and arrows of parenthood and family life. Momku has been featured user on Twitter and regularly appears on Favrd, a site that features tweets that are "favorited" by other users.
Prior to blogging and microblogging Alana worked in technology in New York City throughout the dot com boom and bust. She is an alum of such pioneering internet companies as Cybergrrl, Pseudo.com and Bluefly. She also shares a craft blog, Roses Are Blue, with her (immensely talented) sister, Kara Garrett.
