Beth Blecherman
Beth Blecherman is currently one of the Partners of the SVMoms Group (Silicon Valley Moms Blog, Chicago Moms Blog, DC Metro Moms Blog, New York City Moms Blog ). She is part of the team that reviews and implements programs from companies that are doing social outreach to bloggers in the group. Beth is also the Chief Technology Mom (CTM), she implements/manages the blogging technology for all the sites.
Corporations and organizations have asked her to speak on topics ranging from how to start blogging, online social networking and how to choose the right technology for families. She also assists Corporate clients on the technical side of using social media to reach their target market.
Before blogging, Beth worked at Deloitte as a Senior Manager in their Computer Process Integrity division and had previous positions in the IT area ranging from systems project manager, systems auditor, application developer and programmer. She jumped off Partner track at Deloitte to jump onto the parenting track - utilizing blogging and online social networking as a way to stay involved with technology. Beth's alter ego is "Tech Mama", she founded a personal blog, Techmamas, to discuss parenting and technology. She has been interviewed by publications from the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, San Jose Mecury to CNET on her perspective about parenting and technology issues.
