#BlogHerTalks Pathfinder Day at BlogHer '13

Two years ago I attended the first Pathfinder Day at BlogHer '11 where I sat in a day-long track with successful media professionals, Ree Drummond and Kathryn Finney. Because it was the first session of its kind, I had no idea what to expect, but I was hoping for some direction and inspiration.
I can assure you, I gained those things and so much more. I left feeling connected to every person in that room and with a clear picture of where I wanted to take myself and my site. Not to mention, it was a perfect way to ease into the conference and make contacts in a small setting. Pathfinder Day was like a deep breath before diving in.
Last year, I had the honor of being a Pathfinder along with Deb Rox and while I can't say what it felt like to attend our track, I can tell you how it felt to lead it, and it was an experience I will never forget. The people in that room inspired me, made me more enthusiastic, and had some of the best ideas I've ever heard. You can read what attendee, Mona Darling, thought about that Pathfinder Day in Shannon's post.
Mona sparked an idea at Pathfinder Day '12 and went on to anthologize and publish Glitter: Real Stories from Real Women about Sexual Desire. I'm thrilled that the Pathfinder Day exercises led her to this project!
if you are wondering whether Pathfinder Day is right for you, I hope you will join us for our next #BlogHerTalks Twitter chat with guests Susan Getgood, Katherine Stone, and Melissa Ford, who are all speakers for Pathfinder Day '13. We will be on Twitter discussing the benefits and goals of this pre-conference programming.
Join us on Twitter for #BlogHerTalks Pathfinder Day on Tuesday, June 18th from 1-2p EDT/10-11a PDT. Come on! Let's find your path!
When she isn't tweeting, posting to LinkedIn, or pinning for the BlogHer Community of 55 million, Diane can be found blogging at Momo Fali, where she writes about her sports-fanatic husband, teen daughter and her special-needs son.
