Did you know that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are vintners? Me neither! Their Chateau Miraval estate in France is a wine-producing one. Their Miraval Cote de Provence Rose 2013 is ready for tasting right now.
You’re thinking “Is this a good wine or another weird celebrity product.” It’s actually a good rose. Joe Bastianich, wine maker and restaurateur told Vanity Fair, “The classic traps of celebrity vintners don’t apply. They’re not celebrity vintners; Brad and Angelina are real vintners. They hired a real wine-maker, they waited until the wine was good, they released it properly—this is a legitimate wine. “
If you’d like to have a bottle (or two) of the Miraval Cote de Provence Rose 2013 for your own, head on over to vente-privee and buy them. The rose is on sale at the site until July 2 at 9 am. You can pick up three bottles for the vente-privee price of $69, original price is $94. Six bottles are $126, original price is $183, and a dozen bottles (perfect for a small event) are $228, orginal price is $366.
Brad and Angelina’s chateau is also for sale—you can get a lease option to buy it. However, that’s another article for another day.
À votre santé!
