The Guardian says let your kids choose their books

Vanessa Thorpe in the Guardians says Parents 'must let children choose what they read'. And I say, "Yes!"

I was a self-described free-range reader as a kid. I think it's why I still enjoy reading so much today. I cannot think of a single book that my parents told that I could not read. I cannot think of a single book that they forced me to read. Most of the time they had a hard time prying me away from books.

What do you think of the tips for parents in the article?
