This past year has been such a roller coaster ride.  A bad roller coaster ride!

I'll start with a little background info...Husband was laid off for 6 months...His new job required us to move 3 hours away...Two tween/teens who had to give up the only friends they have ever known...Boy was I ever naive to think that this transition would be smooth.  It just keeps getting worse!Let's see son has already missed 15 days of his Freshman year of high school due to a yet undiagnosed medical issue.  Daughter just diagnosed with clinical depression. I plan to blog about my trials of everyday life.  I promised my daughter that I wouldn"t discuss her issues with my 1 and only friend.  I need to vent, so here I am.

Never in a million years would I have thought our move would put our daughter in a such a wild tail spin.  We moved about a year ago and I just found my innocent 12 year old has been up a few disterbing activities. NO SEX..at least I hope...or at least I haven't found out about it yet.  Nothing would surprise me at this point.

My world came crashing down through a series of events. Believe me, my husband and I have huge clouds of guilt over our heads.  I discover that my daughter had a "My Space" account.  (Social Networking sites have strictly been forbidden in our home.) Anyway, I set out to explore my daughters account when I see her texting her friend to start deleting items from the account.  I took the phone , changed the account password so she couldn't log on.  I thought I could handle the confrontation when I returned from my doctor's appt.

She came to me in tears and said, "Mom I've got something to tell you because your going to find out anyway." Sobbing she said, "I tried to cut myself last night." My baby has been in so much pain for so long that she thought she would try cutting.

Got to take a break. Too painful.
