Can't get picture to load + could blogher be more user-friendly?

I've tried uploading my picture, but it won't upload although the pic (jpeg) is within the parameters.  I also tried to delete it and start over, but it won't delete.

It seems that the info. I need is not readily available in blogher.  Like the forum button should be closer to the top.  Also, I'm not sure what to do next....The page can't be decorated, can't add friends, it's really hard to navigate blogher and figure it all out. 

Plus, where's the HELP section?
