Celebrate 4th of July with a Local Flair
By FashionistaChicago on July 03, 2014
How do you plan to celebrate America’s birthday? Whatever your plans may be, being stylish in Chicago is not hard to do. There are many boutiques around Chicago tucked in our famous neighborhoodsthat define our city of “big shoulders”. So we wanted to share a few local boutiques and pieces we thought were perfect for a 4th of July celebration. Summer is a time to wear easy breathable items and our picks are right on-trend!
1. Hello Prada red clutch! This bag has a gold toned turnlock clasp and comes with removable buckled crossbody strap. A perfect amount of punch of red to show off your patriotism. At the famous Luxury Garage Sale for $350!
2. This Village Print Blouse is the perfect bohemian blouse to wear to capture the summer breeze and spot some fireworks. This blouse was a collaboration with the retailer Tusk and Chicago designer January Prints. $135
3. Ideal Skinny Jeans are perfect to pair with this whole ensemble I am creating for you. These are incredibly flexible and breathable (if that makes any sense). I love these because they are super soft, they don’t stretch out and they don’t fall down! They are made by Henry & Belle right here in Chicago. $152
4. Give me some Bucketfeet please! These are the hottest sneakers around. This Chicago company helped sneakers resurface back in style and the ones featured here are made exclusively for Nordstom $64.95
Enjoy your 4th of July!
