LGBT people (and their allies) all over the world are celebrating PRIDE Month. There are parades, music and film fests, marches and more. While some communities celebrate PRIDE at different times of the year, June is officially PRIDE Month in the United States.

Play Matchy-Matchy, visit these LGBT bloggers and get to know them a little better. Leave your links to more queer bloggers (and your score) in the comments below. Come back next week for another Matchy-Matchy.

I am so bad at this. Like, it took me the first 30 seconds to even get a clue what in the Sam Hill I was trying to do. (Right: match! As in, "matchy-match" match!) But then, you know, I got the hang of it. I will not divulge my minutes or score but I will tell Virginia and cdrdash that they oughtn't to feel so bad any more.

Thank you, Denise, for this nifty idea! And I echo the other commenters: I know some of these folks (one, I better oughta know pretty well! therapy dollars well spent!), but others less so. It's a great way to be introduced to more voices online. Off I go to check 'em out and wish them a happy Pride month, too.

For Prez. watchers, here's his proclamation for Pride month this year. ( http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/preside... ) Happy Pride indeed!

Matchy matchy is not my best game.

Been to Santa Cruz pride and will be marching in the SF pride parade with AVEN (Asexual Visibility Education Network) at the end of this month (June 27).

A cool blog about asexuality by my friend, Ily:

Thanks for linking to glbt bloggers! I am newly out myself and am always looking for new blogs to read. Some of my favorites are www.jason-thejasonshow.blogspot.com ( http://www.jason-thejasonshow.blogspot.com ) and www.ourbiggayborhood.com ( http://www.ourbiggayborhood.com ).

Then of course there's my own blog, www.midlifenatalie.wordpress.com ( http://www.midlifenatalie.wordpress.com )

This will be my first year to actually attend a Pride parade, and I can't wait!

Oh...and my score...4350. I totally have to play again!

Aside from Toronto, which celebrates Pride at at normal time, I seem to keep living in cities that have Pride not during Pride Month. It's in August here, which means by the time it comes around I'll have completely forgotten about it.

Contributing Editor Sassymonkey also blogs at Sassymonkey ( http://sassymonkey.ca ) and Sassymonkey Reads ( http://sassymonkeyreads.ca ).

But my computer is running a virus scan so I'm all twitchy and laggy here. Really, that's my excuse.

Sadly, I work this coming Saturday (and Friday night, gah) and this is the weekend of Columbus Pride. The parade is Saturday morning (right after the 5K that I would have loved to have run in, TOO).

I'm so bad at this. My score was 4450 or 1:29. Clever way to introduce some bloggers I'd never heard of.

Milwaukee Pride was awesome. I'll probably skip Chicago Pride, it wad kind of a dud last year.
